My Boss the Teacher

“Bueller…Bueller…”

Class time!  My boss Chad is teaching a home buying financing class Wednesday evening at Tammy Bateman Properties. He asked me to help him make a flyer for it.  I wonder if I can tag along on his presentation and I can be like Vanna White?  I’ll buy a sparkly gown and everything. 

Okay, this next part, I’m literally copying and pasting straight from the real flyer because I can’t think of a clever and funny way to tell you what time something starts:

DATE & TIME:  Wednesday, May 11th, 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM.

LOCATION:  HEB @ Bunker Hill Community Room, 9710 Katy Freeway, Houston, TX 77005

Now, back to just me talking.  Chad actually knows what he’s talking about.  I know that because I am a snoop, and I have eavesdropped on him teaching people about finances and mortgages.  He has helped me with my own mortgages and finances, and I trust him completely.  He is smart and kind and he wears normal clothes (not like pinstriped suits and stuff).  If you think you’d like to buy a home one day, this will be an hour well spent.  The class is free.

One other thing the real flyer says is that if you’d like to attend the workshop, rsvp with… me!  My bosses know it’s the little things in life that make me feel important.  If you would like to attend the class, email me @ CLedbetter@EnvoyMortgage.com. 

Okay, I know what you’re all thinking…”Can we ask Chad questions about his awesome assistant?  What it’s like to work with her?  And where does she buy those cute scarves?”  Yes, yes, I will prep Chad with all the Just the Assistant facts he needs to answer all your inquiries.  (Just so you know, some of my scarves come from Kroger.  I’m  not even kidding.) 

Speaking of grocery stores, you may have noticed that the location of Chad’s class is HEB.  I don’t know why the Bosses haven’t thought of this for our own office space because it’s genius, but Tammy Bateman Properties is located inside the HEB, smack between the soda pop and frozen peas!  Okay it might not be exactly there, but click here to read more about this fab space.

Now, I’ve got to paste these flyers up on telephone poles all over Houston.
